• Flameproof High Tension Starter is designated to be used in Group I underground coal mines. • These starters can suit a variety of mining applications for pump, fan, conveyor and man riding system. • The starter also has provision for 550 V supply to run winch motor, thruster break motor and 110 V outlet to cater to the lighting load. • The composite unit comprises of three box chambers of robust welded construction. They are mounted on a skid frame for easy shifting. • It also incorporates the connecting terminals for the intrinsically safe circuits.
• Mine Line make 6.6KV FLP Direct On Line Dual Drive Motor Starter is designated for use in Degree III gassy mines. The Starter can be used to run and control conveyor or similar duty motors. The starter also has provision for 550V supply to run WINCH MOTOR, THRUSTOR BRAKE MOTOR and 110V. It also incorporates the connecting terminals for the intrinsically safe circuits. • The composite unit comprises of three flameproof enclosures of robust welded construction. They are mounted on a skid frame for easy shifting. Middle chamber is the Starter Enclosure, The Yellow/Right Enclosure is the Transformer Chamber and the White/Right Enclosure is the Winch Control Enclosure.
• The Power Junction Box is designed solely for the purpose of operation of a MOBILE MACHINE working in underground coal mines. • These range of machines include Coal Haul Dumpers or Drilling Machines. • These Junction Boxes provide the electrical power FOR CONTROL & MOVEMENT OF THE MACHINE. • Power chassis of the power junction box is fully withdrawable and is mounted on four bolts having control & protection. • An hour meter is included in the Power Junction Box to calculate the machine usage time. • Visual live indications for 3 phases are also provided.
• This equipment incorporates intrinsically safe signaling and a lighting transformer combined in a single enclosure and is ideally suitable for transfer points or haulage stations in underground mines. • The 15V intrinsically safe signaling circuit can operate up to 6 Mine Line Signaling bells. • This LS Unit can be used as an audio signaling / visual indication for conveyors and haulages. • It can be used with Mine Line Bulkhead and Well Glass fittings.
• This Machine Distributor along with the Master Controller is a set of 2 flameproof enclosures that have been designed to perform the task of controlling and protecting the Road Header Machine. The Machine Distributor and Master Controllers are approved for use in Gas Group 1 in underground coal mines having high humidity and high presence of coal dust. • This is the power controller which is fitted on the machine for distribution of the power to the different motors. One of the two individual compartments houses the Isolator, and the second larger compartment houses the contactors and protective relays which operate all the drives on the Road Header. • Normally eight such drives are accommodated on the Machine Distributor. Each drive has its own individual protective relays and controls. These are called the Active Parts. • The Machine Distributor Type MD-1 is a robust, welded, mild steel enclosure which is flameproof in design and divided into two compartments. This is the power controller which is fitted on the machine for distribution of the power to the different motors. One of the two individual compartments houses the Isolator, and the second larger compartment houses the contactors and protective relays which operate all the drives on the Road Header. • The Master Controller Type MC-1 is a flameproof chamber which is placed near the Machine Operator of the Road Header. The various commands according to the sequence listed by the customer and in accordance with the machine requirements are possible by operation of the switches on the Master Controller. • This enclosure is divided into 2 parts. One containing the relays for control and protection in precise sequence as requested by the customer choice and the other chamber houses the terminals for connecting the incoming & outgoing cables. • The water pressure switch is a safety device flameproof in design which allows the cutter motor to operate only when the water pressure is sufficient in the system. It is a mechanical device vital for ensuring that the dusty environment is reduced during cutting.
• Bolted Type Plug & Sockets are used for termination of flexible unarmoured trailing cables associated with opencast and underground coal mining environments where space restriction does not permit the use of restrained type Plugs and Sockets • Arrangement can be offered for the termination of armoured cables. This Socket incorporates a flange for four bolt fixing • The Plug & sockets are fitted with gaskets to prevent water ingress • Models are available which are compatible with electrical interlocking facilities • Rating and Voltage : 550 Volts /650 Volts /1100 Volts , 30 Amps, 100 Amps, 200 Amps, 600Amps,
• These Plug & Sockets are used for connecting & terminating flexible trailing cables for Underground and open cast mines. • These are certified for use in Group 1 gassy mines. • To facilitate the connection of trailing cables, these sockets can be fitted with suitable mating plugs on Motors, Pumps, Fans, Gate End Boxes, Shearers, Continuous Miners, Mobile machines etc. • Provision for 3 power & 1 pilot contact or 2 auxiliary with scraping earth facility is available. • Wide range of cable size and types can be accommodated. • Rating and Voltage : 550 Volts /1100 Volts, 200 Amps, 400 Amps, 600 Amps.
The mid -face coupler has been designed and constructed for the connection of two lengths of flexible trailing cables end to end for underground mining application It is designed as a double ended socket and can fit two plugs at either end Fitted with gaskets to prevent water ingress. Fully integral earth screening through insulator. Contact tubes available to accommodate flexible unarmoured trailing cables. Rating and Voltage : 550 Volts /1100 Volts, up to 600 Amps
• These are used for connecting & terminating flexible trailing cables for Cable Reeling Drum of Load Haul Dumper & Side Discharge Loader Machine operation for underground & open cast mines.
• Couplers & Adaptors are attached to Switchgear, Transformers or other similar electrical equipment. • These are certified for use in Group 1 gassy mines and are suitable for both underground & open cast mines. • The couplers & adaptors must be compound filled before use. • Rating and Voltage: 3.3 KV/ 6.6KV, up to 600 Amps

The auto transformer starters are used for smooth starting of induction motor, for heavy works. • These starters are ideal for high powered field motor application with heavy starting torque. • The transformer has a number of tappings to suit the application and customer requirements.
• The Field Switch Unit is widely used for Surface mines. This switch operates a number of other apparatus like the Pump, Shovel etc. • The Field Switch is suitable for outdoor installation and provided with Lifting Hooks and Skid base for easy shifting. The Field Switch is used mainly in Mine Field to distribute the power for various loads like Drill Machine, Shovel etc. The Field Switch comprises of Isolator, Vacuum Circuit Breaker of suitable rating with all protections like CT, PT, Relay, Meters etc. along with outgoing load distribution arrangement. There is also provision for connect the incoming and outgoing cable through HT Plug and Socket arrangement. The Enclosure of Field Switch is provided with complete pre-treatment and anti-corrosive coating before final coat with an approved colour. There is interlocking arrangement between Isolator, VCB and Enclosure Door to prevent unauthorized access to the live system.
• The Vacuum Circuit Breaker Panel is of simple robust construction and is eminently suitable for use in mining and for industrial service. It provides a maximum flexibility to meet variations in substation requirements, whether rural, urban or industrial • The VCB Panel comprises of two separate compartments, Upper Chamber consisting of Isolator (Optional), Busbar & Lower Chamber consisting of other protective relays, VCB unit, meters, indicating lamps and push button switches for several control testing and processes. • A weatherproof canopy protects the unit from rain and dust in case of outdoor type.
• These Starters can be utilized for Direct on Line, (DOL), Star Delta, Dual Drive operation for control and protection of various motors. • The Starters are available with mining type terminal boxes and sealing box and gland for cable entry. The enclosures are fitted with rubber gaskets to prevent water ingress. • Optional cable entry through compression glands is available for trailing cables. • Various auxiliary terminals with either sealing glands or compression glands can be optionally provided for winch control, audio visual alarms, prestart warning, pull chord, belt sway and belt speed options. • The enclosures are capable of being banked on a common skid, by means of through going arrangements enabled by the terminal chambers which are equipped with busbars or looping through arrangements. • Starters can be designed for winch control, sequential control, or cascading drives as desired.

• Unitized substation is generally used for surface lighting purpose. This is even used in other applications in open cast mine or for other small industrial supply applications like- motor load for various applications. • This is basically a compact substation used as an electrical distribution panel unit to feed several LT starters and/or other electrical equipments from HT incoming supply. • Compact in size and with unique styling and visual appeal it can withstand harsh environmental condition. • Enclosure is prepared from high strength metallic sheet and is divided into 3 separate parts, i.e., HT side, LT Side, Transformer section. • High intensity fault indications are provided for easy fault identification. • Meters are provided to display Current and Voltage separately in each feeder at LT side and in HT side. • Protections and indications can be customized as per requirement.
This well glass fitting has been manufactured for use in Open Cast mines. These well glass fittings are operated by individual isolators which enable a single lamp to be switched OFF for maintenance. The well glass fittings are available with LED, CFL or Incandescent bulbs.

• Flameproof Bulkhead Light Fittings are used as luminaries in gaseous underground mines. • Individual Isolator is provided for isolation of individual Bulkhead in case of maintenance without disturbing the entire underground lighting circuit in the gallery. • The front cover of the enclosure swings open and is suspended on hinges. • The Bulkhead enclosure is flat for easy fitment on low height seams. • Through going Cable & Sealing Box is provided in case of series mounting of the full quantity of lights. • In case of any voltage drop, the lumen output does not decrease.
This flameproof tube light has been manufactured for use in the hazardous environment of Coal mines as well as for the Oil and Gas industry. This can also be used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, plastic industries. This flameproof tube light can be exclusively used in underground moving machineries for peripheral lighting, such as SDL, UDM, Feeder Breaker, etc. Can be versatile to operate as illumination gallery as well as used for underground substations, visual signaling operation by blinking for prestart of a conveyor, chairlift, etc.
Underground coal mines are one of the most dangerous workplaces. Presence of coal dust, water, and methane makes it vulnerable. The toughest challenge is to provide safe & user friendly electrical equipment to ensure safety of the miners. Mine Line load centers have been developed to fill that gap. Over 11 such loadcenters are working in Indian mines. Use of automation in these load centres for control and monitoring of the mining operations at longwall or continuous miner face, enables higher productivity, lesser downtime through instant fault analysis and optimised safety. The LED Screen with Smart System (IPC) offers self-diagnostic feature through Pop up messages. This software developed by us, gives instant indication of any fault on any feeder. The Control & reset is possible through an intrinsically safe trackball which is password protected. There is a full colour monitor screen mounted on the front cover. Periodic reports are generated from System for Machine availability, power consumption, and stoppage data with reasons for stoppage on any drive. Fault analysis voltage fluctuation and safety parameters like Earth Fault. Factory pre-set values of Overload, monitoring cable conditions, single phasing of the individual feeders, cable insulation, overvoltage/under voltage are also monitored & generated through the system. It is possible to change the tripping parameters without opening the front cover, through a password protected external keyboard Data transmission to the pit top is possible. This can be viewed and operated on surface PCs through appropriate cables.
