FIELD SWITCH UNITS

Extremely rugged field switch units are available for use in circuit control on surface and open cast mines.
Vacuum circuit breakers upto 630 amps and at voltages either 3300/6600 Volts are available.
The vacuum circuit breakers may be either fixed or draw-out versions.
Isolators commensurating with the usage voltage and electrically interlocked with the main enclosure door are provided.
Motor protection relays to provide overall protection to the total downstream circuit are provided.
Solid state over-current and short circuit relay may be provided.

FLAMEPROOF AIR BREAK AIR CIRCUIT BREAKERS FOR 550 VOLTS

Most popular models of circuit breakers, which are available for voltage upto 550 Volts and current ratings upto, 400 amps.
Tested for all category of tests at the CPRI as per IS 13947.
The main active chamber is fitted with either an air break MCCB, or, a circuit breaker with self-cleaning contacts with easily renewable tips.
There is a choice of three models available,
One, where the unit is entirely of draw-out type, which is fitted with butt and stab contacts at the back. This being the fully draw-out type.
Two, where the unit is mounted on rails, but there are cables at the back, which need to be disconnected, prior to taking the unit out. This bring the semi-draw-out type
Third, is the conventional type where the unit is the fixed to the enclosure by bolts.
The circuit breaker is certified for all category of test duties, according to the latest IS Standards.
The circuit breaker is clapper type with self-aligning and self-cleaning contacts, with easily renewable contact tips.
The Isolator is mounted in a separate flameproof chamber and is mechanically and electrically interlocked with the cover of the main enclosure.
Isolators are upto 400 amp capacity.
A potential transformer is provided to cater to voltage changes on the incoming side and suitable tap changes may be made to accommodate your mine voltage.

The magnetic oil dashpot relay has time lags and can be set to operate between 75% to 125% of your load.
Cabling can be provided to suit client's needs.
It is possible to trunk two or more such units on a common skid to save cabling costs.
